PO'H 2025 Winners Announced

 February 23rd, 2025


Bread was broken, fellowship was shared, soup was devoured.  Our panel of 12 all-star judges  spent 2 intense hours rating soups based on Individuality, Craftsmanship, and Gusto.  6 finalists were selected, which were then scored by all 12 judges.  The top three juried soups received a cash prize and a golden ladle trophy.


A sell-out crowd of 250 soup tasters voted for their favorites using 2 voting cards issued with their ticket purchase.  500 voting cards printed, nearly 400 were cast for soups.  The top 3 received a "Tasters Choice" award.  Every soup received multiple Tastes Choice votes - there were no bad soups.

2nd Place - Gerardo Martinez (Vecinos Cafe) - Pozole with a Kick


3rd Place - Brandun Ramon & Heather Wyatt (Calypso Creole and Cajun Cuisine) - Chicken and Sausage Cajun Gumbo


Honorable Mention - Josh & Julie Raymer (Bakery JoJu) - Pozole Verde

Soup Taster Tickets Sold Out!

 February 21st, 2025


Snooze and lose, PO'H 2025 is officially sold out!  But there's still plenty of reason to come anyways - Shim's Be Blessed will be serving their full menu plus desserts all day, 4 bands play 12-8pm, Schreiner University will be showing off a new hydraulic press while doing block prints on the front porch, and the beer will be flowing.  Come hang out!

Packet Pickup Ready!

 February 21st, 2025


Packets for ticketed soup tasters are ready.  The custom soup mug, spoon, crackers, and two Tasters Choice voting tickets may be picked up FRIDAY February 21st at Trailhead Beer Garden during business hours (3-11pm).  These packets may also be picked up the day of PO'H, starting 10am.  


Tasting window opens Saturday at noon. SOUP MAKERS SHUT DOWN AT 3PM and expect to run out of soup, so get there early.
